Jeremy Renner in Details Magazine December/January Issue
IT MAY HAVE TAKEN HIM TWO DECADES, BUT JEREMY RENNER HAS FINALLY LANDED HIMSELF A SPOT ON HOLLYWOOD'S A-LIST. NOW THE TWO TIME OSCAR NOMINEE IS SPILLING ALL THE DETAILS ON HIS RISE TO FAME.
JEREMY'S ROLE IN THE 2008 DRAMA THE HURT LOCKER MAY HAVE LANDED HIM AN OSCAR NOM, BUT BEFORE HE HIT IT BIG JEREMY MADE A LIFE OFF FIXING UP OLD HOUSES, A GIG HE NOW GETS TO DO FOR PLEASURE.
IN THE DECEMBER/JANUARY ISSUE OF DETAILS MAG JEREMY SAYS QUOTE "I wasn't super-happy being so poor. Eating on $10 a month—probably not very good for you. But I loved what I was doing. NOW, HE DOES IT AS A HOBBY.
BUT WITH THE DAYS AS A STRUGGLING ARTIST FAR BEHIND HIM, THE 40-YEAR-OLD IS MANAGING TO SCORE HIMSELF SOME SERIOUSLY AWESOME PARTS, including starring alongside tom cruise in the new mission impossible flick due out next month
HE TELLS THE MAG, "I'm blessed to have cool roles in these big movies. Because nothing against Transformers, but thank God I don't have to do a monologue to a robot."
AND LIKE HE NEEDED ANOTHER "COOL ROLE" JEREMY JUST WRAPPED THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SUPERHERO MOVIE "THE AVENGERS" DUE OUT NEXT SPRING
